These rebus puzzles are linked to the lockdown period required by the government in order to slow down the propagation of Covid-19. We confined at home during two months during spring 2020. We were authorised to go outside an hour per day. In this context, everyone had to fight his own way through it and find things to do.

For my part, I decided to create two projects that where compatible with two young girls who could come and disturb me every 5 minutes: these 5 rebus puzzles that were published on my facebook profile and sent through emails, and another project I will write about later in the “objects/ prints” section.

There were as many Google images available as I needed, and I could count on my far-fetched type of imagination to express what I wanted.

Many people got caught up in the game and found the answers each time, or so. Many people gave up since the way I play with syllables (sometimes adding them, sometimes removing them) is not always easy to understand.
