The number-puzzles
The first puzzle models date back from 1999. The The first puzzle models date back from 1999. The idea is to get an image from many images : the images contained in each puzzle piece then create an image.
There are 9 pieces on which there are 1 to 9 elements. The base of the game is made of 9 squares on which is mentionned the number of elements that should be put on it. The numbers can be organized in ascending, descending order or mixed.
Then, the final image represents one coherent image, if the associations were correctly made.
Nombres en puzzle
4 illustrators worked on the 4 puzzle designs (and also on the puzzle-images but I won't talk about them here) and it's partly thanks to them that I signed a contract with Sylemma-Andrieu for Nombres en puzzle (Numbers into puzzles). Pascal Rivier did the beautiful illustration of the « beach » puzzle that you can find on the commercialized version.
Almost all the 2000 boxes of the « numbers into puzzle » were sold to kindergartens between 2005 and 2013. Yann Penno was the illustrator. There were two versions : a foam version and a magnetic one. I own the copyrights, they can be produced again.
However, I hope some are still available in schools, for kids to play with.
